Lord Granville Agricultural Heritage Association promotes the agricultural heritage of Granville County through the restoration, preservation, showing and demonstration of items such as tractors, farm implements, antique engines, horse drawn equipment along with the skills necessary for the farmer and his family to survive and prosper. The Association also serves as a forum for the sharing of ideas and common interests. It educates its members, the community and especially the young about the rich agricultural heritage of Granville County and encourages community involvement.
The Lord Granville Agricultural Heritage Association is committed to providing financial assistance to young men and women who are pursuing higher education in the field of Agriculture, Family and Consumer Science (formerly known as Home Economics), or related subjects. The number of scholarships and the amount of each is based on funds available and the number of qualified applicants and may vary from year to year.
